Maud A. Cespedes died on Oct. 30, at Schneider Regional Medical Center on St. Thomas. She was 73 years old.
She is survived by her husband, Granville Cespedes; son, Roberto J. Jemmott; stepchildren: Reynaldo Cespedes and Elisha Smith; daughter-in-law, Aurelia Jemmott; granddaughter, Ashleigh Jemmott; sisters: Inez Daily and Barbara Welch; brothers: Ernesto, Rogelio and Alfredo Chandler; sisters-in-law: Laverne and Lorna Chandler; 20 nephews and nieces; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A first viewing will take place from 7:30-9 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 5, at Davis Funeral Home Chapel. There will be a second viewing at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m., Friday, Nov. 6, at Mt. Zion New Testament Church. Interment will be in New York.
