He is survived by his wife, Zahorah Ali; brother, Habib Ali; daughters: Ferozah McConnell and Afrose Frey. sons: Ashmead, Fayad and Shazad Ali. He is preceded in death by his son, Shurab Ali. He is also survived by daughters-in-law: Cecelia, Laura, Ivette Ali and Yvette Lagoa; son-in-law, Rawlins Doodhai; grandchildren: Courtney Fangmann, Jordan McConnell, Shiraz and Cristal Ali, Victoria Frey, Aaron Ali, Solange Garcia, Kailann, Delani, Laura, Juan and Tatiana Ali; brothers-in-law: Rafeek and Shazam Mohammed, Vernon Khan and Seudath; sisters-in-law: Momeena Suedath, Shairoon Ali and Afrose Mohammed; and numerous nieces and nephews. Other survivors include special friends: Bro. Sadeek Hosein and family, Bro. Nazir Mohammed; Bro. Yasin Muhammad; Bro. Fazal Donaie; the Mars family; the Boodoosingh family; the Subnaik family and all members of the Islamic community; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

Funeral Services will take place at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 22, at the Masjid Abu-Bakr El Siddique (Mosque), No. 85 Estate Hermon Hill. Interment will follow at the Kingshill Cemetery.
