Virgin Islands Port Authority Executive Director Kenn Hobson informs the public that it has changed the days and times that the public can be issued a Transportation Workers Identification Card (TWIC) in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The new office hours, effective Dec. 14, are:

All United States Coast Guard-credentialed merchant mariners, port facility employees, longshore workers, truck drivers, and others requiring unescorted access to secure areas of maritime facilities and vessels regulated by Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002 are required to obtain a TWIC card.
The TWIC offices are located at the Cyril E. King Airport Terminal on St. Thomas and at the Henry E. Rohlsen Airport Terminal in the VIPA Safety and Security offices located on the second floor of the airport terminals.
