The “Show Your Love to Haiti” fundraiser is set for1-10 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 14, Hull Bay Hideaway on St. Thomas. Enjoy good food and music on Valentine’s Day and the people of Haiti at the same time. Bands will be a’jammin all afternoon and into the night. Performers will include Sun King, Oleik Ledee and George Berry, The Mountaineers, Mighty Whitey, Becca & So High So Low and Obsession. Sit inside or bring a blanket and stretch out on the grass.
There will be a barbecue buffet served from 1-9 p.m., catered by Jen’s Gourmet Café & Deli. The menu will include barbecued chicken, beef brisket and shrimp scampi with all the fixings for $12 per person. Hot dogs will be available for the kids for $3. The bar will be open from 1-10 p.m.
Calling all Cupids! Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a romantic sit-down VIP dinner catered by Jen’s Gourmet Café & Deli. The extra special menu will include the fresh catch of the day, shrimp scampi and prime rib, plus desert, champagne and complimentary entry into the fundraiser — all for $75 per person. Reservations are required in advance, so call 777-4611 to make them. Or, this special VIP dinner is available for $95 per person on the day of the event and subject to available seating.
A donation of $10 gets you in the door and a commemorative T-shirt. Either wearing your T-shirt or a hand stamp at the entrance will let you come and go throughout the event. Children under 12 are free. Volunteers will be accepting monetary donations for Haiti by cash, check or credit card. One hundred percent of profits will be donated to the Community Foundation of the Virgin Islands (CFVI) for Haiti Relief.
