The Department of Human Services, Office of Child Care and Regulatory Services will host its 2010 Mass Consultation Summer Workshops for all persons interested in operating summer camps. All licensed childcare providers facilitating summer camp are encouraged to attend to receive important information from the Office of Child Care and Regulatory Services, the Division of Environmental Health, the Virgin Islands Fire Service, Department of Planning and Natural Resources, and the Department of Education Nutrition Program. Persons who are undecided about organizing a summer camp are also invited to attend.
Workshops on St. Croix are scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on March 16 and 17, at the District Court in Estate Golden Rock. Workshops on St. Thomas are scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on March 18 and 19, in the Sugar Estate Head Start conference room.
