CMCA and Stop the Bleeding Present ‘V.I. Folk Tales at Sunset’

In honor of V.I. Heritage Month, the Caribbean Museum Center for the Arts and Stop the Bleeding will present “V.I. Folk Tales at Sunset.” The event, which will feature folklorists “Auntie” Janice Popo, Rev. George Franklin, Shaquilla Robinson, Lynn Maria Chiang, Nikwanda Williams, Cedelle Christopher and other surprise storytellers, will take place at 5 p.m. on Saturday, March 6, in the CMCA courtyard, next to the Frederiksted Mall.

Listen to Cariso, jumbie stories, the adventures of Sara and Adie, and other local folklore. Celebrate the arts and reconnect to culture. This event is family friendly, and admission is free.
