The Department of Licensing and Consumer Affairs (DLCA) notifies the public of its latest territory-wide gas price survey findings. The survey was completed on Feb. 25 on St. Croix and Feb. 26 on St. Thomas and St. John.
St. Croix
On St. Croix, survey findings indicate one change at the gas pumps, an increase in the highest price per gallon offered for self service regular fuel. Survey findings from Feb. 18 indicated the highest price at $2.65. The current survey shows a cost of $2.79. The following table indicates where consumers can find the best bargain for gasoline in the St. Croix district.
The highest prices found on St. Croix for full service gasoline were $3.89 for premium and $3.79 for regular. The highest prices for self service gasoline were $2.99 for premium and $2.79 for regular. The highest price per gallon for diesel fuel was at $3.50. Survey results.
St. Thomas
On St. Thomas, survey findings indicate an increase in the lowest prices offered for full service premium and regular fuel. Premium costs increased from $3.07 to $3.29 per gallon and regular increased from $2.97 to $3.12 per gallon. Diesel fuel experienced an increase on its highest price and self service fuel prices remained unchanged. The survey results indicates where consumers can find the best bargain for gasoline on St. Thomas.
St. John
On St. John, Domino Oil still remains out of fuel. Survey results represent prices for E&C self service station, which experienced no price changes.
