Lieutenant Governor Gregory R. Francis has announced that the Christiansted, St. Croix Passport Office and the St. Thomas Passport Office will open on Saturday, March 27 in recognition of Passport Day 2010. Both offices will join passport agencies and acceptance facilities across the United States in hosting passport events. The offices will be open from 9 a.m. to noon.
Residents planning to apply for or renew their passports on Passport Day are reminded that in addition to the completed passport application, they will also be required to provide proof of citizenship and identity, two 2×2 photos and associated fees. Additional requirements apply for minor children. Copies of the passport application are available at the Office of the Lieutenant Governor or online at www.ltg.gov.vi.
