Tom Bolt, managing shareholder of BoltNagi PC, a leading Virgin Islands law firm, has announced the donation of funds to aid the earthquake survivors in Port au Prince, Haiti. During the month of February, the BoltNagi law firm participated in weekly luncheons, during which all of the food was donated and prepared by three members of the staff. “We would normally go out to lunch and easily spend 10 dollars on a quick meal, but what better way to put that same money to work helping those in Haiti that lost everything? The attorneys and staff were pleased to learn that BoltNagi gladly matched the dollar amount raised during the month” said Attorney Dan Gravel.
Ravinder Nagi, shareholder and chair of Litigation Practice Group at BoltNagi, noted that the donation is a reflection of the firm’s corporate values and principles of excellence, leadership and citizenship. “We are proud of our efforts during the month and are very excited to announce that we are donating $1000 today to ShelterBox,” said Nagi.
“ShelterBox’s relief effort and overall mission are aligned with our longstanding commitment to community service, and we are pleased and proud to contribute” said Tom Bolt. “Each box supplies an extended family of up to 10 people with a tent and essential equipment to use while they are displaced or homeless.”
In addition to Shelterbox, BoltNagi has also made a donation to the American Bar Association Haiti Legal Development Fund, an initiative to support pro bono efforts that will help Haitians rebuild and reform their legal system and courts.
