Eugene Anselmo Martin, also known as “Brukstomach,” of Sion Farm died on March 28, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 81 years old.
He is survived by daughters: Lucia Martin, Marva Martin Phillip, Arlene Williams and Sonia Macovoy; son, Eugene Jr.; grandchildren: Gene Martin, Dequane Williams and many others too numerous to mention; sisters: Silvia Farrow, Medora Grandville and Dolores F.; brother-in-law, Oliver Farrow, nieces: Polly, Nena and many others; special niece, Lorrine Robles; nephews: Bobby Williams, Lucien Spencer and many others; great nephew, Moises Robles; and many other great nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. He is also survived by aunts: Mildred Edwards Sillie, Juanita Edwards and Anesta Harris; uncles: Harry Edwards and Leroy Edwards; special friends: St. Paul’s Episcopal Church Men’s Group; cousins and other relatives: the Sealy, Derrick, Williams, Treasure and Banwaree families: the Golden Grove Correctional facility family, the Loverne Woods Baily family, the Anna Quintero family, the Marilyn Rodgers family, Ethlyn Brown and family, Anna Edwards and family, Emilio Edwards, Leova and Ralph Herbert; and many other too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 1 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery
