Deyambi Ross, 18, also known as “Yusuf,” was arrested Thursday and charged with first degree robbery, according to St. Thomas police.

According to the initial report, Ross, a St. Thomas native, was arrested at the Oswald Harris Court Housing Community at about 10:20 p.m. Thursday after he was positively identified as the suspect who robbed a male victim at gunpoint the same day.

Bail for Ross was set at $75,000 and he was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
