A raffle to benefit the Hemodialysis Unit at Schneider Regional Medical Center has netted $22,400. Six prizes were awarded during the drawing, which was held at 4 p.m. on May 28, in the hospital lobby. The winners are as follows:
1st prize – 2010 Ford Ranger Truck w/Super Cab – Terrence Rabsatt
2nd prize – Caribbean Cruise for Two — Marilyn Malone
3rd prize – 32” Flat Screen TV — Winston Smith
4th prize – Diamond Pendant and Chain — Alva Lake-Ambo
5th prize – 10 Sheets VI Lottery Tickets — Eddie Thomas
6th prize – Wii Bundle w/Fit Board, Controls and Games – Louis Harrigan
Lorraine Baa, director of marketing and development, thanked SRMC employees for their success with selling raffle tickets as well as all those who supported the fundraiser by purchasing tickets or donating prizes. She noted that the proceeds will help with the purchase of additional dialysis patient chairs and other costs associated with the planned expansion of the unit.
