Boys and Girls Club Reopens Two Teen Centers on St. Croix

The Boys & Girls Club is reopening its Teen Center in its continuing effort to offer a positive and safe environment for young people. The center is free to all area residents and will feature theme nights, basketball tournaments, movie nights, Wii tournaments and lots more,

It will open in Frederiksted from 6-9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, and in Christiansted from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, June 17. There will be a live band, food and door prizes. The Teen Center will be open every Wednesday and Friday night in Frederiksted and every Thursday and Saturday night in Christiansted through September 30.
To sign up, come by The Boys & Girls Club in Sunny Isle from 1-5 p.m. on Saturday, June 12. There will be refreshments, goodies and a sign-up for the door prize on opening night at both clubs: a new Wii game system or iPod!
The Boys & Girls Club is encouraging all individuals, civic organizations, business leaders and church leaders to come and be a part of uplifting teens and helping them develop a bright future. The Teen Centers are made possible through a grant from the Law Enforcement Planning Commission (LEPC).
