St. Croix Young Professionals’ Network Formed

0

The St. Croix Chamber of Commerce has announced the establishment of the St. Croix Young Professionals’ Network. Proposed by Stephanie Felix, a 2009 University of Miami graduate, the new organization is dedicated to serving the young adult population of St. Croix as an outlet for networking, professional development, career advancement, community outreach and activism. With recent local community events, organizations like this have become even more important and critical to the growth and success of local communities and young people.

The organization will be hosting monthly networking and social receptions at local restaurants, giving young people an opportunity to network with like-minded individuals and create business partnerships. In addition, it will host community service events, forums and roundtable discussions as well as a leadership development series. The network is targeted to individuals 18-35 who are interested in growing professionally and in gaining some insight into the local marketplace. It will have annual membership dues that allow members to attend events for free, receive a membership packet and take part in numerous other promotions.
Interested individuals are encouraged to contact founder and key organizer Stephanie Felix or e-mail [email protected].
