Woman Charged with Third-Degree Burglary

Police on St. Thomas arrested 21-year-old Renda Esther Ferdinand and charged her with third-degree burglary.

According to the police, a 54-year-old man returned to his home in Estate Frenchman’s Bay and found it ransacked. Ferdinand was inside the home without permission, the police report says. The victim called the police and Ferdinand was arrested at about 6:30 p.m. on Monday, June 21.

Bail for Ferdinand was set at $25,000 and she was remanded to the Bureau of Corrections pending further court action.
