Julana Curleen Willock, also known as "Lana," of Estate Strawberry died on Sept. 17, at Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 11 years old.
She is survived by her mother, Curleen Rogers; father, Henry Willock, Jr.; stepfather, Hollis “Alex” Farrell; grandmother, Eslyn Albert; grandfathers: Albert Rogers, Henry Willock and Rudolph Albert; sisters: Juleen Curlisha Willock and Julysah Chante Willock; aunts: Curlita Rogers-Saunders, Eileen Richards, Princess Hassan, Bernadette Toussaint-Christopher, Beverly Hassan and Jocelyn Hassan; uncles: Frankie and Franklyn Toussaint, Peter Willock, Samuel Hassan, Brian Saunders and Leon Richards; great aunts: Eileen Richards, Jocelyn Hassan, Beverly Hassan, Princess Hassan and Lydia Toussaint; and great uncles: Samuel Hassan, Leonard Hassan and Leon Hassan. She is also survived by cousins and other relatives: Adonis and Avante Saunders, Natalie and Felicia O’Neal, Jerome and Judah Christopher, Brianna Nor Hassan, Joy and John Richardson, Tricia Hendrickson and Alison Richards, Youlanda Lopez, Jaden Summers, Tye Wanzer, Sheena Lee Henry, Devin McNeil, and Samantha, Randy, Alicia, Elijah, Isaiah and Tatiana Hassan.
Other survivors include special friends: Shelly Bachoo Peguero, Rachel Tank, Elizabeth Meade, Enid Ogaro, Natalie Williams, Sherry Timothy, Speak the Word Ministries, the AT&T Wireless family, the Pearl B. Larsen School, the Pope family, the Gittens family and the Snagg family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention. She has been preceded in death by grandmother, Claudia Ann Willock, and great grandfather, Jeremiah Hassan.
A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 29, at Speak the Word Ministries, Peter’s Rest. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
