Crime Stoppers is asking your help to solve gun crimes and burglaries throughout the territory. If you know something, say something. Even the smallest bit of information may be just what law enforcement needs to solve a case.
In recent weeks throughout the territory, we have seen the prolific use of illegal firearms in several violent confrontations where individuals had no reluctance in shooting at police officers and at law-abiding citizens.
Illegal firearms have also been used in robberies. Law enforcement needs your help to identify and arrest the people who are bringing these illegal firearms into the territory, and those who are providing these weapons to others.
Throughout the territory, there has been a rash of burglaries that are often directly or indirectly related to the sale of illegal drugs. VIPD and Crime Stoppers are appealing to all residents to continue to report any suspicious vehicles, as well as any suspicious people or activities around your homes.
Also, if anyone approaches you and attempts to sell you drugs or goods that you suspect may have been stolen, please report this matter to police or, if you want to remain anonymous, you may report it to Crime Stoppers USVI.
Remember that turning a blind eye is not the answer. Only by holding individuals accountable for their actions can we produce positive results.
