The 2011 CIG-Greenhouse Gas (GHG) is a grant opportunity similar to the regular CIG (Conservation Innovation Grants) but focused on climate change issues only. Funds are available for innovations related to greenhouse gas management/reduction up to $2 million per proposal. Deadline for full proposals is Feb. 11. These proposals are administered by (National Resources Conservation Service) NRCS National Headquarters.
