Police on St. Croix arrested a second suspect in connection with the La Grande Princesse shooting that occurred Jan. 10 near the Elena Christian Junior High School.

Albert Marcelle, 37, was arrested around 5:37 a.m. Monday and charged with first-degree reckless endangerment.

On Jan. 12 police arrested Andre Browne, 29, and charged him with first-degree reckless endangerment in connection with the same shooting. A 17-year-old minor was detained by police the same day; however, no charges were filed.

Bail for Marcelle was set at $75,000 and he was remanded to the Golden Grove Adult Correctional Facility pending further court action.
