Paul Yarwood, president of the Elmo Plaskett East Little League, advises the general public that the player registration drive continues to be held on Saturday, Jan.29, from 1-3 p.m. at Canegata Ball Park. The league (4-12 divisions) will officially kick off on Saturday, Feb. 5,and the (13-15 division) will kick off Friday, Feb. 11. Parents or guardians registering a player need to bring a copy of the child’s birth certificate and proof of residency (example: WAPA bill). The registration fees are $20 and $15 for each additional sibling.Two practice games will be held during the registration drives.
