The Virgin Islands Fire Service’s Administrative Office as well as the Arson and Prevention Unit, St. Croix District, will be closed to the general public from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1 to allow the employees to attend the funeral service of retired Deputy Chief Roosevelt Parsons, according to a press release from Acting Director Steve Brow.

The offices will resume operations at 1 p.m.
