The Virgin Islands Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (VIUCEDD) Lending Library and Assistive Technology for Persons with Disabilities will hold an annual open house from 1-4 p.m. on Thursday, March 31, in the UVI ACC Conference Room, St. Thomas. This informative program will feature opening remarks by VIUCEDD Executive Director Dr. Yegin Habtes and an overview of programs and services for persons with disabilities in the Virgin Islands since the center opened in 1994.
A financial planning workshop presentation will follow along with device demonstrations of assistive technology for the future for persons with disabilities that also benefit those without disabilities. There will be door prizes, refreshments and information and awareness about VIUCEDD programs and services.
