Summer Food Service Program Site Training Scheduled

Mandatory training workshops for summer sites, including coordinators/owners/directors interested in participating in the 2011 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), will be held on Monday, May 16 and Thursday, May 26. Both sessions will be held at 9 a.m. at the district Curriculum Center in Anna’s Retreat, according to a press release from Esther Izaak, St. Thomas-St. John District Director for the School Lunch Program.
All persons who will be involved in any aspect of meal service for their program must attend one of the scheduled training sessions and make every effort to be on time.
The SFSP will operate from June 27 – Aug. 5. For more information, contact the School Lunch Program at 774-8070.
