VING Volunteer Appreciation Ceremonies Set

In celebration of Volunteer Appreciation Week, the Virgin Islands National Guard (VING) Family Programs Office will host a Volunteer Appreciation Ceremony on St. Thomas and St. Croix. The ceremony is a way for the VING program to say and give thanks to volunteers for giving of their time. Family programs volunteers have assisted with many programs offered, such as their Youth Program, Pre-deployments, Yellow Ribbon Programs, Strong Bonds and other programs growing and within their particular unit Family Readiness Groups.
On St. Thomas, the ceremony will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 7, at the Leonard B. Francis Armory in Estate Nazareth.
On St. Croix it will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, at the William D. Roebuck Industrial Park.
