Extra hours of water service in the evening have been added in some neighborhoods affected by the water conservation schedule, the V.I. Water and Power Authority announced Tuesday.

Customers in the following areas will now have water service daily from 5 to 9 a.m. and 7 to 9 p.m: Kirwan Terrace, Lindberg Bay, Contant, Anna’s Fancy, Altoona, Solberg, Upper Savan, Agnes Fancy, Frenchtown, Upper Hospital Ground, Berg’s Home, Paul M. Pearson Gardens, Estate Thomas, and Tutu High Rise.

There will be water service at all schools until 5 p.m. each day.

According to the WAPA release, the schedule will be relaxed as water storage increases.
