Dates Changed for Summer Food Service Training

Esther Izaak, St. Thomas-St. John District director for the School Lunch Program, reminds interested persons that mandatorytraining workshops for summer sites and site coordinators/owners/directors have been scheduled for the 2011 Summer Food Service Program (SFSP). The date of the trainings has been changed from April 16 to Tuesday, May 17 and Thursday, May 26. Both sessions will be held from 9 a.m. at the district Curriculum Center in Anna’s Retreat.
All persons who will be involved in any aspect of meal service for their program should attend one of the scheduled training sessions and make every effort to be on time.
The 2011 Summer Food Service Program will operate from June 27 – Aug. 5.
