Jeanne J. Joseph, also known as "Ma-Jack," “Sardwin” "Amma" or “Tardoe," of Estate Grove Place died on Friday, April 22 at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was born in Dominica, W.I., and was 81 years old.
She is survived by her children: Rosette Benjamin, Mathew Joseph, Henrietta Stedman, Doris Celetine, Roseline Joseph, Agnis Augustus, Martina Charles, Agnita Joseph, Rufus Joseph, Sevior Joseph and Ernestine Joseph; grandchildren: Clyde, Pearl, Lee, Dave, Nina, Judy, Vincia, Doritta, Tyrone, Carl, Tim, Tarry, Christy, Chrisline, Chrisann, Craig, Olivier, Ruthin, Rena, Rico, Kelvin, Claudia, Cheri, Remy, Chislane, Nash, Verlin, Anrothia, Greg, Julius, Chester, Zita, Marlon and Delroy.
She is also survived by great-granchildren: Iesha, Iymani, Keewon, Emily, Ariana, Laila, Dalila, Charlie, Isaiah, Kymarah, Kiondra, Diondre, Delany, Jaynira, and Khalid; brother, Bernard John Finn; sons-in-law: Denfield Benjamin, Henry Charles, Austin Stedman, Joseph Celestine and Michael Augustus; daughters-in-law: Shiela Joseph and Marie Louise Joseph; sister-in-law, Alixia John Finn; 54 nieces and nephews to include Erick John Finn, Julien Prevost and James Austrie; special friends: The Prayer Group Of St. Ann’s Catholic Church and Fountain of Life; Brother Prescott, Anna Gueste and Angela Laudat; and other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, May 6, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Kingshill Cemetery.
