ADA Standards for Accessible Design Training Program Scheduled at VIUCEDD

Architects, building owners, municipal managers or anyone responsible for determining if the built environment complies with ADA accessibility requirements could be interested in the following program. Cornell University’s Disability Business and Technical Assistance Center in conjunction with the Accessibility Services Program of United Spinal Association and The University of the Virgin Islands-Virgin Islands University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (VIUCEDD) presents the “2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design Training Program.”
The 2010 standards update accessibility requirements for a wide range of facilities in the public and private sectors covered by the law. This program will be offered in two convenient locations:
Monday, June 27, at the Windward Passage Hotel in St. Thomas or Tuesday, June 28, at the Renaissance St. Croix Carambola Beach Resort & Spa.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.; the training program starts at 8:30 a.m. and concludes at 3:30 p.m. There will be no cost for this program. Seating is limited to 50 attendees.
