Air Force Airman Troy C. Hodge
Air Force Airman Troy C. Hodge/St. Thomas
July 16, 2011 (Joint Hometown News Service) – Air Force Airman Troy C. Hodge graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness, and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
He is the son of Lubiel Hodge of Hospital Ground, Charlotte Amalie, Virgin Islands.
Hodge graduated in 2010 from Charlotte Amlie High School, Virgin Islands.
Army National Guard Pvt. Reinaldo Rodriguez/St. Croix
July 6, 2011 (Joint Hometown News Service) – Army National Guard Pvt. Reinaldo Rodriguez has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission, history, tradition and core values and physical fitness. He received instruction and practice in basic combat skills, military weapons, chemical warfare and bayonet training, drill and ceremony marching, rifle marksmanship, armed and unarmed combat, map reading, field tactics, military courtesy, the military justice system, basic first aid, foot marches and field training exercises.
Rodriguez is the son of Gladys Gonzalez of Christiansted, U.S. Virgin Islands.

Army National Guard Pfc. Heppington C. Augustin/St. Croix
July 21, 2011 (Joint Hometown News Service) – Army National Guard Pfc. Heppington C. Augustin has graduated from Basic Combat Training at Fort Sill, Lawton, Okla.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier studied the Army mission and received instruction and training exercises in drill and ceremonies, Army history, core values and traditions, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, rifle marksmanship, weapons use, map reading and land navigation, foot marches, armed and unarmed combat, and field maneuvers and tactics.
He is the son of Lucy Augustin of Williams Delight, Fredriksted, Virgin Islands.
Augustin graduated in 2001 from Saint Croix Educational Complex, Fredriksted.

Army National Guard Pfc. Bernaleo A. Henderson/St. Thomas
July 22, 2011 (Joint Hometown News Service) – Army National Guard Pfc. Bernaleo A. Henderson has graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Benning, Columbus, Ga.
During the nine weeks of training, the soldier received training in drill and ceremonies, weapons, map reading, tactics, military courtesy, military justice, physical fitness, first aid, and Army history, core values and traditions. Additional training included development of basic combat skills and battlefield operations and tactics, and experiencing use of various weapons and weapons defenses available to the infantry crewman.
Henderson is the son of Bertille Henderson of Estate Thomas, Charlotte Amalie, Virgin Islands.
