Traffic will be disrupted next week on Melvin Evans Highway and West Airport Road as the V.I. Water and Power Authority’s contractor installs electrical conduits to the Cruzan Rum Distillery.
As construction has created detours, motorists are asked to be cautious in the area.
Between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday, March 9, drivers are urged to follow traffic directions around the intersection of Route 64 (West Airport Road) and Route 66 (Melvin Evans Highway).
No power outages are anticipated while the work is in progress, WAPA said in a news release.
