Macherry Marie Thompson, also known as "Cherry" or "Mon-Chi-Chi," of Estate Profit died on March 22, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 38 years old.
She is survived by her companion, Joseph Joe Caraballo Sr.; mother, Ena V. Simmonds; adopted mother, Irma Jean-Davis; grandparents: Clara Thomas and Eugene Rhymer Sr; daughters: Shenequa Creighton and Shaquan James; son, Shamal Creighton; grandchildren: Davari Jones and London Jean-Pierre; sisters: Shakima Simmonds, Nakima Simmonds, Yvonne Greenidge, Adelle Rhymer and Cherry Renaud; brothers: Douglas Thompson Jr., Allan, Lawrence Greenidge, Abel Thompson, Terry Thompson, Elijah Thompson, Pastor Clinton Liburd and Jacob Small; and nieces: Latisha Mills, Lanegue, Shakiya Simmonds, Kymora Moolenaar, Takima, Alaika, Talaiya and Alania Greenidge, K’Desha and Janesha Greenidge, Reanna, Nehniah, Telecla Thompson, Vishini Ayala, Naliya, Jahlia Renaud.
She is also survived by nephews: Shaheem Clouden, Jamen Brathwaite, Allan, and Elijah Greenidge, Abel and Hezekiah Thompson, Jah’Nye and D’ Nye, Glenford Simon Jr. and Daquwan Renaud; aunts: Brendagail Joseph, Sarah Christensen, Debra Rhymer, Mabel Brady, Rainell Thompson Jones (Fla.), Alisha Thomas, Sharon Tutein (N.C.), Urineah Thomas (W. A viewing will be held at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, at Peter’s Rest Seventh-day Adventist Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
