Eurica E. Moorehead of Estate Peters Rest died on May 24, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. She was 100 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Eleanor Telfor, Rhea B. Hodge and Iris Sarauw; sons: Elroy, Norris, Darryl, Winston, Mario and Austin; grandchildren: Wayne, Beatrice, Natalie, Dureama, Jennifer, Melanie, Sophia, Stefanie, Pamisha, Auschelle, Usef, RAshi, Jabari, Karima, Khadija, Colette and Darryl Moorehead, Ja’ Nel Harrigan, Katrina Dickerson, Ato Hodge, Jamila Hodge, Steven Telfor, Janelle Smith and Moundir Salahie; 31 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren: daughters-in-law: Zoubida, Lorraine and Deanna Moorehead; son-in-law, Dean Hodge; brother, Emanus "Popa" Christian; nieces: Inez Plaskett, Elena Terrell, Sheryl Christian, Levonne Turner, Verna Garcia, Myrtle Christian, Ann Marie Jacobs and Angela Sealey; and nephew, Delmin Christian.
She is also survived by special relatives and friends: Olive Fabio, Leona Barnes, Estelita Goodridge, Gloria Joseph, Gaynel Christian, Doreen Williams, all the Moorehead families, the O’ Reillys, the Hendricks, the McAlpins, Phillips, Rosados, Christians, Walcotts and Sarauw families, the Plasketts, Clarkes, Harleys and Harveys; godchildren: Iris Browne, Magdalen McAlpin, Ken Fabio, Monica Emmanuel, Jeryl Hendricks, Rossille Deland and Haroldito Edwards; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 7, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Christiansted Cemetery.
