Rehenia Heyliger Plaskett of Estate Whim died on June 26, at her residence. She was 101 years old.
She is survived by her daughters: Seline Plaskett and Marcelline Plaskett-Joseph; son, Reginald Plaskett; grandchildren: Laverne Pedro Joseph, Keith Benjamin, Deborah Manners Greene, Coral Forester, Rehenia White, Catherine Coleman, Digna Marie-Plaskett, Elmo Plaskett Jr., Johan Plaskett, Thelbert Joseph Jr., Leria Joseph, Vicencia "Reka" Joseph Freeman; great-grandchildren: Euriella Joseph Curtis, Euriell Joseph, Kai Manners, Tod Greene Jr., Maylasia Shelle, Mairan Mcbardhern, Tomi Coleman, Ian Alexander Plaskett, Briana Lorette Velez-Plaskett, Tyshawn Joseph, Nalania Joseph, Tajh Joseph, Aleem Pennyfeather, Aisha Pennyfether, Arielle Pennyfeather, Rashawn McCrea, Reagan McCrea, Rahieda Williams, Reniece Williams, Rashaud Williams and Rasheed Williams; great-great grandchildren: Bryce Curtis, Frederik Hill and A’Laynah Hatcher; special friends: Lomist Limbacker, Myrtle Richards, Esther Moorehead-Urgent, Muriel Stevens, Sarah Drake-Ferrol and Augustina Stevens; cousins and other relatives: the McIntosh family, the Williams family, the Plaskett family, the Heyliger family and the Daniels family; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
A viewing will take place at 9:30 a.m. and a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Frederiksted Cemetery.
