The Division of Banking and Insurance reminds all insurance agencies that all non-resident adjusters affiliated with their agency must be registered with the division prior to adjusting any claims resulting from the expected severe weather, according to a press release issued on Wednesday by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor.
Registration forms for the adjusting firm and independent adjuster are available at www.ltg.gov.vi. Both the adjuster and the insurance agency are required to pay a registration fee of $150 each upon the filing of the forms with the Division of Banking and Insurance.
