Cinthy Olivia Lewis of Strawberry Hill died on Wednesday, Aug. 22, in Clermont, Florida. She was 79 years old.
She is survived by her four children: Hertica Martin, Laughton Lewis, Telsalda Josiah and Karin Joseph; sisters: Winnifred Walters and Bernadean Hull (Ontario, Canada), brothers: Mitchell and Gerard Lewis (Leeds, England), sons-in-law: Samuel Martin and Hashim Josiah; daughter-in-law, Lisa Lewis; grandchildren: Akemi Martin, Hashim and Amal Josiah, Omari, Jamal and Afiya Lewis, Antonio O’Garro, Tyeka Powell, Kerisha David, Jaden and Sierra Fall, Chaz Tubarri Nesbitt, Shamoya, Shadeyan and Shalom Albert, Tykeera and Yuodora McFadden, Kayin Whitehead and Zarina Okoinyan; great-grandchildren: Omari, Omani, Roh’niya, Kimora, Ahmani, Kymani and Ahmari Lewis, Zahir Polk, Dennis Jr., D’Chaun, Dequan, Dae’von Knight, Jamal Lewis Jr. and Destin O’Garro; as well as many other nieces and nephews, extended family and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held from 3-5 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 3, at James Memorial Funeral Home. The second viewing will take place at 10 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 4, at the St. Peter’s Episcopal Church (Estate Castle Coakley). Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
