Volunteers Needed for Project Homeless Connect

The Department of Human Services in partnership with the United Way of St. Thomas-St. John will host Project Homeless Connect 2012 on Friday, Oct. 12 on St. Thomas, and Friday, Oct. 26 on St. John, according to a press release issued Wednesday by the DHS.
Volunteers are needed for escorts, guides, greeters and wait staff. Training will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25 at the Department of Human Services Sugar Estate Head Start Conference Room for the first session and 11:30 a.m. for the second session.
Service providers are invited to a training session at noon on Thursday, Oct. 4 at the SBDC Conference Room in Nisky Center.
