The University of the Virgin Islands – Community Engagement and Lifelong Learning (UVICELL) Center has announced that registration is open for the Praxis II prep course. The six-week course will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday beginning Sept. 22. Classes will be held at the UVICELL Center on the St. Thomas Campus. The prep course prepares elementary school teachers (K-6) for the exam so they can be designated as highly qualified in order to meet the mandates of the No Child Left Behind Act.
