The Office of Veterans Affairs of the U.S. Virgin Islands in coordination with the Department of Veterans Affairs will celebrate a welcome home event on St. Croix on Oct. 6.
The event will take place at the Canegata Multipurpose Recreation Center from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The purpose of the welcome home appreciation event is to honor U.S. military service members and to provide important information about benefits and programs available to them.
Family and children are encouraged to attend to enjoy food, music and games, and to be informed on matters concerning their veteran.
Local officials have been invited to attend and give remarks.

Vet Center Readjustment Counseling Services
