Jump off the pier in Frederiksted on Saturday, Jan. 12. Come swim with others from the 9th Annual Sea Swim from the Frederiksted Pier to Rainbow Beach (approximately one mile). Categories range from 12 and under to 50 and up. Fins are allowed. There will be a BBQ at Rhythm’s at Rainbow immediately following the swim where all the swimmers can meet each other. Prizes will be given in all categories and there will be a special new prize this year for fastest parent/child team.
Check-in starts at 9:30 a.m. at the Frederiksted Pier. Shuttle service will be available from Rainbow Beach to the pier from 9:15-10:30 a.m. There will be a conch shell start from the pier at 11 a.m.
The cost is $45. Sign up by Dec. 1 and receive a discounted price of $35 with lunch, T-shirt and “goodie bag” included. There is no race day registration. Participants must register before Friday, Jan. 11, at 5 p.m.
