Interfaith Coalition of St. Croix Seeks Volunteers

The Interfaith Volunteer Caregiver Project, a program of the Interfaith Coalition of St. Croix, will give a free training at 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1. A continental breakfast will be provided. Participants will be given a certificate upon completion. Volunteers may choose the time they wish to visit with an elder or person with disability and the duty they wish to perform. Duties include: caring companionship, making telephone calls, running errands or reading to a sightless person. It only takes an hour or two a week.
