WWII Veteran Alvin Ricardo Milligan, also known as "Dusty Cooke" of Estate Whim died on Monday, Dec. 10, at his residence He was 92 years old.
He is survived by his wife, Ione Idalia Casey-Milligan; son, Kenneth Antonio Milligan; daughter-in-law, Laurie Milligan; brother, Allen Milligan; sisters: Leona M. Garvey, Eleanor and Ethel-May Milligan; nephews: Henry A. Milligan Sr. and Granville A. Milligan Jr., Aubrey, Rudy, Magella, Ricardo, Kenneth and Raymond Milligan, Lloyd Garvey and Donald Ross and Wayne Jackson; nieces: Judith O. Milligan, Marcia I. Milligan, Germain C. Milligan, Marjorie C. Milligan, Florette P. Milligan Patricia Smith-Hicks, Gloria Garvey, Rita, Leola and Virginia Milligan, Robyn Ross and Deanna Milligan, Brenda, Nina, Magda and Sandra Jackson; special great nephew, Alvin M. A. Milligan; brothers-in-law: Federico Fergus, and Charles and Leon Casey; sister-in-law, Idona Clarke-Jackson; caretaker, Precious Yearwood; close friends: Sarah Gordon, Ronald Allick Sr., Vincent and Esther Urgent, L. There will be a viewing at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 18, at St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
