Felix Garcia-Figueroa Dies at 72

Felix Garcia-FigueroaFelix Garcia-Figueroa, also known as "Felo,” “Mr. Felix,” “McClarke” or “Joe," of Estate La Grande Princesse died on Jan. 18 at his residence. He was 72 years old.
He is survived by his spouse, Carmen (Carmelita) Garcia; daughters: Carmen M. Garcia-Ramos, Augustina Garcia-Rosa and Rosita Garcia-Felix; sons: Felix Garcia Jr. and Pedrito (Pedro) Garcia; grandchildren: Abayomi Garcia Sr., Sol Maria and Luis Daniel Ramos, Jose A. Rosa Jr., Marianais Rosa, Ana Maria and Maria del Carmen Felix, Maria Genesis, Maria del Pilar and Carmen Rosa Garcia; great-grandchildren: Abayomi Garcia Jr., Jose Angel, Felix Noel and Joel Selso Garcia, Joseph Felix Rosa, Solimar and Luz Angela Melendez, Emanuel and Jeremiah Valentin, and Jahylene Marie Ramos; daughters-in-law: Gloria Perez-Garcia and Minerva Garcia-Ventura; sons-in-law: Manuel (Pepe) Ramos, Jose A. Rosa Sr. and Jose Antonio (Papo) Felix; and sisters: Espifania Garcia, Luisa Garcia and Benjamina Garcia; brothers: Candido Garcia, Rumaldo Garcia and German (Chiche) Garcia-Ventura.
He is also survived by nieces: Michelle Lenhardt-James, Lisa Marie Lenhardt, Inocencia (Ninin) Garcia, Dalila (Lily) Garcia, Amelia Ayala, Juana, Norma Melendez and Marjorie Cintrón, America Garcia, Norma, Esther, Leonor and Elba Torres, Rosa Garcia, Peggy Acosta Soto, Carmen Santos, and Wanda and Elizabeth Centeno; nephews: Anibal Garcia, Candido (Cuco) Garcia Jr., Josean Garcia, Hector Santos, Angel and Pedro Melendez, Leonardo (Papin) Santos, Luisito Garcia, Nicanor Soto, Marcelo Ramos, Domingo Santos, Julio, Alejandro Jr. and Oscar Torres, Ismael Martinez, Manuel (Manny) Centeno Jr. and Andy Rodriguez; father-in-law, Pedro DeLeon Montez; sisters-in-law: Margarita Centeno, Inocencia Garcia, Milagros Garcia, Julia Martinez, Ketty Rodriguez and Lina Rosa; brothers-in-law: Jorge Torres, Alejandro (Yeyo) Torres, Celiedonio Martinez and Basilio Martinez; special friends: Federico Bohlke, Carmelo (Cano) Parrilla, Miguel Ventura, Ruben Cruz and Stanley, Carlos and Candida Ramos, Pastor Carlos Encarnación, Carmen Belardo, Serena Anduze and Isabel Montes, Juan Burgos and Juanita Diaz; compadre: Jorge (Frenchi) Cintrón and Manuel Centeno; comadre, Margarita Centeno; as well as other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.

A viewing will take place at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, at the Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
