Daniel Ezekiel Maynard, known to everyone as Ezekiel, died on Feb. 9 at his residence. He was 92 years old.
He is survived by: his loving wife, Melvina Maynard; his loving children and their families: Dr. Paul Maynard, Dr. Brenda Maynard, Dr. Prisca Maynard, Millicent Maynard, Bernice Maynard, Inita Maynard, Eloise Maynard, Esme Williams, Spencer Archibald, Lornette Morton, Jervon Swanston and Keith Swanston; sisters: Cilvene Swanston, Laurice Maynard and Viola Maynard; grand and great-grandchildren: Attorney Gillian Maynard, Brainerd Maynard, Prisca Maynard, Paul Maynard Jr., John Maynard, Jeanelle Rawlins, DJ Morton, Rhyster, Jelanie, Jaele, Jhruel, Dylan, Aquila and Jervan Swanston Jr., Abbygale and Tenya Archibald; nieces and nephew: Bernice Eaton, Sylvia Fahie, Heather Grosvenor, Giselle Walton, Greta Guishard, Venisha Nisbett and Leroy Maynard; as well as many other relatives and friends too numerous to mention.
Viewing of the body will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 16, at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church followed by the funeral service at 10 a.m. Interment will be in Gingerland, Nevis.
