Iantis Phillip died on March 8 at the age of 76 at her residence.
She is survived by her husband, Gresville (Sonny) Phillip; sisters: Florencia (Peggy) James, Kathleen Willson, Harriet Pickering Gordon and Erene Gray; sisters-in-law: Esmie Stevens, Juilet Pickering and Addelyn Brown; children: Francisco (Cisco) Jennings, Alexander (Ipa) Pickering, Lauris (Girley) Brown, Mario (Map) Pickering, Iris Duncan, Donald (Isha) Pickering, Melvin (Jah Ruby) Pickering and Vanessa (V) Brewley; daughters-in-law: Alexia Jennings and Karimah Pickering; and sons-in-law: Joseph Brown and Ralston Brewley.
She is also survived by grandchildren: Pete(Danny) Mitchell , Shenell Jennings, Nichole Brooks, Monique Pickering, Everette Wilkinson, Maureen Pickering, Marcus Pickering, Derek Brown, Maurice Pickering, Joyneisha Stephens, Joyneida Brown, Larissa Pickering, Jahkema Pickering and Evonte Rey; great-grandchildren: Pete Mitchell, Jayniah Decent, Julie Mitchell, Everette and Evina Wilkinson, Markila Pickering and Ah’Myah Farrington; special friends: Veronica Rogers, Rosemary Joseph, Mr. and Mrs. Stephens, Jenny Hodge, Rosetta Nisbett and Mercedes Dickerson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing held at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 19, at Christchurch Methodist, Market Square. Interment will be held at Eastern Cemetery.
