The Government Employees’ Retirement System (GERS) advises retirees affected by the March 15th payroll deduction issue that the situation has been resolved, and all third-party vendor checks have been delivered.
GERS began the in-house processing of its annuity payroll on March 15. However, it has experienced a programming issue, which impacted the dispensation of its third-party deductions for the March 15 annuity payroll, according to a press release issued Thursday by the GERS.
GERS regrets any inconvenience caused and would like to thank retirees for their patience and understanding.
