Dianne V. James of Estate Calquohoun died on April 28, at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Medical Center.
She is survived by her mother, Sarah Powell James; daughters: Chrishell Smith and Joilah James; sons: Jahson Henry and David Brown; grandchild, Rochelle Williams; godfather, Chester Williams; daughter-in-law, Roxanne Henry; sister, Marie Bulbulla; brothers: Cedric James (Tiger/Tony), Michael James (Molibu) and Kenrick James; nieces: Tsion Aberra, Jahmyah James and Marchecia James; nephew: Bila Aberra, Maliem James and Marc James; aunt, Ada Acoy; uncles: Arthur Powell, Hugh James and Halvor James; special friends: Chainey Lang, Sheila Woodly, Valencia Barnes, Ronal Bean, Vincent Notion (Zaka) and the House Keeping Department of the Governor Juan F. Luis Hospital; cousins and other relatives: the Entire Powellsville Community in Estate Calquohoun, Joyce Francis, Michelle Greene, Paul and Henry Samuel, The Calquohoun Community Action Group; and other family members and friends too numerous to mention.

A viewing will take place at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10 a.m. on Monday, May 6, at the St. Luke A.M.E. Church, Estate Grove Place. Interment will be at Kingshill Cemetery.
