The V.I. Economic Development Authority (VIEDA) has announced the relocation of its St. Thomas offices, including the offices of the Economic Development Commission, the Government Development Bank, the Small Business Development Agency and the Enterprise Zone Commission, to its new location starting on Monday, May 20, at Nisky Shopping Center on the second floor, Suite 620, on St. Thomas.
The VIEDA’s current office on Norre Gade will remain open until May 17, according to a press release issued Tuesday by VIEDA.
“Moving our offices to Nisky Shopping Center is a cost-saving measure for the VIEDA, especially during these challenging economic times,” said VIEDA’s CEO Percival E. Clouden. “Our new location will also provide a more conducive work environment that will help us to better serve our clients, who will now also have better access to our offices. We look forward to serving our current clients and the general public at our new location,” he said.
VIEDA also advises the general public that on May 20 that all mail should be sent directly to the new office address to 8000 Nisky Shopping Center, Suite 620, St. Thomas, U.S.V.I. or to the regular P.O. Box 305038, St. Thomas, USVI 00803.
The main office’s telephone number remains the same as before: 714-1700. All other telephone and facsimile numbers for the VIEDA’s Economic Development Commission, Small Business Development Agency, Government Development Bank and the Enterprise Zone Commission will also remain the same.
