Public School Registration Scheduled for School Year 2013-2014

Sharon D. Richardson, Director of Parent and Community Involvement in the St. Thomas-St. John School District, has announced the following registration schedules for the 2013-14 School Year:
St. John’s registration for all students from 8:30-11:45 a.m. in grades 1 through 12 will be held on Wednesday, May 22, at Julius E. Sprauve School.
Registration will also be held from 8:15 a.m. to noon in the month of July on St. Thomas at the Curriculum Center in Estate Tutu for students entering the public school system in grades 1 through 12 according to the first letter of a student’s last name:

Registration on St. John for grades 1 through 12 students will continue from 8:30-11:45 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12, at Julius E. Sprauve School.
The following documents are required and must be presented to complete public school registration where applicable:
1. Original Birth Certificate (U. S. Citizens Only);
2. Passport (Foreign or American), Resident Card or
Naturalization Certificate;
3. Virgin Islands Immunization Record and clearance form from
the Immunization Clinic located at the Schneider Regional
Medical Center (Blue Slip or Green Slip);
4. Report card or transcript from previous school;
5. Social Security Card or number;
6. Proof of physical address (Example: Official document such as
a WAPA bill or receipt showing name and street address);
7. Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 Plan and evaluation
data;
8. Notarized letter granting temporary guardianship or Order of Guardianship.
A child must be present at the time of registration.
