The V.I. Police Department needs your help to solve the following crimes. If you know something, say something, as law enforcement cannot control crime without your help. Even the smallest bit of information may be just what is needed to identify these criminals.

St. Croix: On June 15 at approximately 2:20 p.m. on the main road in the Williams Delight housing community, 21-year-old Jose Bess was fatally shot at a time of day when a considerable level of activity was taking place. Someone saw something, heard something or knows something. Please tell us so law enforcement can find the person or persons responsible for this young man’s death.

St. John: On June 23 about 11:30 a.m., a man parked his black, soft top Jeep Wrangler in the area of Julius Sprauve School. When he returned at about 3:15 p.m., he discovered that someone had broken into the Jeep and stolen his black backpack that contained $350 in cash, a black iPhone 3, and several credit cards and IDs. Help identify the thief.

St. Thomas: On June 6 about 7 p.m., two men were driving in the area of Four Winds Plaza when several shots were fired at them. Both men sustained several gunshot wounds. Help put an end to this indiscriminate shooting wave by telling us what you may know about the shooters.
