Lambert Luther Heyliger Dies at 80

Lambert Luther Heyliger Lambert Luther Heyliger, also known as "Hylie,” “Beak” or “Butty" of Estate Whim died on Oct. 25 at the Gov. Juan F. Luis Hospital. He was 80 years old.
He leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife, Geneva; sons: Angelo Heyliger Sr. and Glenn Alston; daughter, Anissa Heyliger; daughters-in-law: Marlene Heyliger and Mildred Alston; grandsons: Niko, Malik, Michael and Angelo Heyliger Jr., Angelo and David Fox (N.J.); granddaughters: Erma, Jeanette, Octavia and Vilma; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers: Evans Heyliger and George Lawrence; sisters: Petronella Holm and Rafaela Albany; brothers-in-law: Frank Albany and Jacob Lisbon; special son and priest, Father Kenneth Gaddy; special friends: Leroy and Mary Sanders (N.Y.), Chambois and Shirley Roberts (Va.), Kenneth and Juliet Clarke (Nev.), Alfredo and Gwendolyn Hodge, Emith and Gwendolyn Fludd, Dennis and Deborah Howell, Earl and Phyllis Charles, and Etheldred "Cino" Christopher; as well as a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and acquaintances too numerous to mention.
There will be a viewing at the James Memorial Funeral Home Inc. from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2. There will be a viewing at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Interment will be at Frederiksted Cemetery.
